A Liberal M-P will speak tonight at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton.
Martha Hall Findlay has been invited to speak by the Southport Club of the Canadian Federation of University Women.
It’s a free public event and it begins at 7 PM.
Findlay — a lawyer who represents the Toronto riding of Willowdale — was first elected to the House of Commons in 2008.
She also ran unsuccessfully for the Liberal party leadership.
Findlay moved to Thornbury at the age of 13 and went to high school in Meaford before she skipped three grades and graduated at the age of 15.
