Laugh for a good cause tonight in Owen Sound.
The Investors Group has chosen the Alzheimers Society of Grey Bruce to reap the benefits of tonight’s Investors Group Comedy Tour at the Roxy Theatre.
Deb Barker — the Executive Director Alzheimer Society of Grey Bruce — says the Investors Group are long time supporters of the Alzheimer Society and just came forward with the opportunity.
Barker says fundraisers like this one are so valuable to the daily function of the ALzheimers Society.
She is quick to add most of the money raised stays here in Grey Bruce for programs for those with and caring for those with Alzheimer’s and related illnesses.
Tonight’s comedy show features Tim Nutt, David Merry and Dave Hemstad – all award winning comedians.
Tickets are $25 and are available at the Alzheimers office in downtown Owen Sound on 2nd Avenue East or by calling the Investors Group at 519-372-1177.
Show time is 7:30 PM but there will be an opening reception as well as a food bank drop off at the Roxy starting at 6:30 PM.
