Huron’s women’s shelter is hoping money actually does grow on trees.
The shelter is raising funds through the Shoppers Drug Mart Tree of Life campaign.
The funds raised will go towards to advancing womens whole health in Goderich.
The campaign runs now through October 15th at over 1,180 Shoppers Drug Mart stores.
Michele Hansen, Executive Director at the Shelter, says fundraising efforts like this allow them to provide women with resources to maintain optimal health in mind, body and spirit.
You can support the cause by buying a $1 leaf, a $5 butterfly, or a $50 cardinal at any participating Shopper Drug Mart
Since 2002, the Tree of Life campaign has raised more than $13 million for Canadian health charities.
100 per cent of funds stay in the community where they are raised.
