A human life chain of about 100 people, will form along Hanovers main street this afternoon.
Its part of an international event that is taking place across the globe.
From 2 PM to 3 PM today, profilers from all walks of life and denominations will join forces in a silent prayer vigil for the unborn.
Organizer Theresa Weiler says each person represents a link on a chain and will be holding a pro-life sign while praying silently for an end to abortion.
This is the tenth year Hanover has hosted this peaceful demonstration.
Weiler says this silent witness is well received by the public without incidence.
The prolife movement is very near and dear to Weilers heart.
She became the first person to walk across Canada for the unborn in 1993.
It took the grandmother nine months to complete the seven-thousand kilometer trip.
Weiler says over the years great gains have been made on the life issues adding thats its young people that are the really big supporters of the cause.
Weiler invites anyone interested to join the silent demonstration.
