A Hollywood legend is in Owen Sound this weekend.
Mickey Rooney is starring in the acclaimed musical “Let’s put on a show”.
It is Saturday at 2 PM at the Roxy theatre.
“Let’s Put On A Show” is an auto-biographical musical, highlighted with film clips and humour.
Rooney will share the stage with his wife of over 29 years, the singer/actress Jan Rooney.
The show features a tribute to Mickey Rooney’s famous co-star from his days at MGM studios, Judy Garland.
The Hollywood legend first crawled on stage during his father’s Vaudevill act in 1922 when he was 18 months old.
Rooney has been in the movies right up until 2009 when he appeared in the comedy “Saddle Up”.
