It seems a number of residents have some concerns about wind turbine projects planned for our region.
To address those concerns, a citizens group has organized a town hall meeting.
Spokesperson Tracy MacGregor says an information session held by Leader Energy regarding the Arran-Elderslie project left a lot of questions unanswered.
Some of those questions deal with health concerns, environmental issues, and the effect a wind farm could have on property values.
MacGregor says among the speakers at the meeting will be Hazel Lynn, the Grey-Bruce Medical Officer of Health – along with environmentalists, and housing market experts.
The meeting will take place at the Tara Community Centre starting at 7 PM tonight.
