Thirteen years after purchasing it, the owners of the Butchart Estate Bed & Breakfast have decided to sell the property.
Marsha Barrow says her and her husband have completed all of their planned restoration work to the 5th Avenue house – which has been around since the 1880’s.
Barrow says after 13 years in business it was decided it was time to leave it behind.
She adds the arrival of her new granddaughter spurred her and her husband to sell the business so that they could be closer to her.
Barrow says she has met travellers from all around the world over the last 13 years and looks at the whole experience as fun.
Barrow adds she does note expect the house to sell right away.
When it does sell, she would like to see it remain a bed and breakfast.
