The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission says a heavy water leak at the Bruce nuclear generating station in Tiverton posed no risk.
Unit 6 at the Bruce B station was shutdown last week after a heavy water leak into a containment area of the reactor.
The CNSC says they are satisfied with Bruce Power’s precautionary measures and the event posed no risk to the public or the environment.
Unit 6 remains offline as crews make repairs to a valve.
Bruce Power reports Units 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 remain at high power.
