Federal Conservatives are worried about the Bayshore Broadcasting News poll, on the Long-gun registry.
On Wednesday, the Bruce Grey Owen Sound Tory Riding Association sent an e-mail burst to members, urging them to go on-line and vote to dump the long-gun registry.
In the e-mail, the riding association says the poll should not be taken lightly.
It claims the Liberals are very organized and have been doing their best to discredit MP Larry Miller on his stand to get rid of the Registry.
The email says the Liberals bombarded the poll earlier in the week, and lowered the percentage to get rid of the gun registry by approximately twenty-six per cent.
You can only vote once in the online poll, so the Tories urge their members to call at least ten family members or friends, to get them to vote to scrap the gun registry.
It appears a lot of Conservatives have responded.
Bayshore Broadcasting News has noticed a huge jump in the number of votes to dump the long-gun registry.
Between Wednesday and Friday, there were more than one-thousand votes registered — most calling for an end to the program.
