Its time to get wild about arts with MacGregor Point Provincial Park this weekend.
The 4th annual Wild for the Arts event takes place Saturday and Sunday in the park.
Norah Toth — the Park’s Natural Heritage Education Specialist — says the studio tour host artisans from across Grey and Bruce featuring everything from stained glass to acrylics with all displays outside through the park.
Toth says there is also human visual art in which some teens from local high schools will be human statues along trails — covered in gold glitter.
On Sunday there will be the literary art featured as a partnership with the Brucedale Press has been formed for local authors to read some of their stories live.
Seeing as the event is run by Friends of MacGregor Park and has teams ed up with several community groups.
Admission to the park fro both Saturday and Sunday is free.
Toth says the event is good for the entire family and is very culturally diverse.
The event runs at the park just south of Port Elgin starts at 10 AM on Saturday until 4 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM.
