The former manager of the now closed Movie Gallery in Port Elgin has opened a new video-rental store.
Katherine Masse says Movie Gallery was a US-owned company, and ran into trouble so the whole chain closed.
But she feels the Port Elgin market still needs and can support two video-rental stores.
Masse opened the doors to the Movie Store last month beside the Mac’s convenience store.
She says she has a good clientele and believes her business can thrive.
Masse says the business will be membership-based, and all you need to sign up is two pieces of identification.
