Two teens from London are facing assault charges after a street brawl in Port Elgin.
Saugeen Shores police say officers on patrol came across a group of people at the corner of Goderch and Elgin Streets around 2:30 AM Saturday.
The group was trying to help a male on the ground.
Investigation revealed several people were fighting, and when the one was down on the ground, two others allegedly kicked the victim in the face before running away.
The victim was taken to Southampton hospital, then transferred to Owen Sound Hospital.
After testing, he was sent back to Southampton.
A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old from London now face charges of assault causing bodily harm.
