Young agriculture enthusiasts are being encouraged to speak out for agriculture — it could win you cash!
The Canadian Young Speakers for Agriculture is once again opening up a chance to attend their competition, held annually in November at the Royal Agriculture Winter Fair in Toronto.
Chairman of the Board Ted Young says not only is it a chance to win cash, it’s an opportunity to develop your public speaking skills and gives youth a forum to express community concerns.
There are cash prizes for the six finalists in both the Junior and Senior Competition.
Young says youth these days are passionate about farming and the direction the industry has gone.
