Still no settlement between Loblaw and the union representing workers at the company’s Ontario stores.
The most recent set of contract talks wrapped up yesterday with the UFCW setting a strike deadline of 12 AM on Friday, October 8th if no agreement is reached before then.
The talks affect workers at the Real Canadian Superstore and Loblaws in our area and across the province.
Negotiations will resume on September 27th.
