There are 69 quilts all stitched with care hang in the Owen Sound Coliseum.
They are all part of the “Fruits of our Labour” quilt show; running in conjunction with the Owen Sound Fall Fair.
Gladys Pennicchetti says the quilts this year are beautiful, colourful and in a variety of different designs.
She says although quilting is not an inexpensive pastime it is one that is on a resurgence as people find it relaxing.
With that Pennicchetti says the quilt show is more popular than ever, both for participants and spectators.
Some of the 69 quilts come from Kitchener, Ottawa and of course Grey and Bruce County.
Pennichetti says cash is the top prizes and all have been awarded and will hold ribbons for people to see at the show.
The show runs the same time as the Owen Sound Fall fair and is in the coliseum at the fairgrounds.
