Two local festivals are getting a big and wild infusion of cash from the Federal Government.
Huron Bruce MP Ben Lobb announced Thursday the funding for the Canadian Big Band Celebration and Wild for the Arts Festivals.
The 16th annual edition of the Canadian Big Band Celebration in Saugeen Shores will receive $12,700.
It starts September 17th and includes jazz and big band music performances.
Also, the Friends of MacGregor Point Park received $4,500 to help present its Wild for the Arts Festival.
It starts September 18th and includes art workshops, demonstrations, musical performances, and a drama presentation by local high school students.
The funding comes from the Building Communities through Arts and Heritage Program.
