Victim Services of Bruce Grey and Owen Sound is putting a call out to volunteers.
Program Coordinator Laurna Lynn Mills says they’re looking for anyone 19 years and older.
Mills says there’s not one particular area they need volunteers, but rather right across the two counties.

Mills says a program coordinator in either Bruce Grey or Owen Sound will then get in touch with you.
As for what type of commitment they’re looking for — Mills says they want individuals who can dedicate a few 12 hour shifts a month.
She says you will be asked to either make phone calls to people they serve or to attend a police service detachment or family home when a crisis hits.
