The union representing grocery store employees locally and across the province wants to continue talking.
UFCW Canada says there has been enough headway made with Loblaws on significant issues to keep them at the bargaining table.
Talks will start up again September 8th and continue to the 11th.
The two sides have been negotiating on a new contract since April.
The contract affects 30 thousand workers province wide at Loblaws, the Real Canadian Superstore and Zehrs.
