A 39 year old Saugeen Shores man will answer to assault charges after an investigation involving a three year old child.
Saugeen Shores Police received information about injuries the child had sustained.
Bruce County Children’s Aid were called in.
The investigation revealed the young boy had been struck in the face while being disciplined by a parent.
The 39 year old man — whose name has not been released — was arrested and charged with assault.
The child was examined and released from hospital.
