A victory for Bud Rier Chevrolet in Paisley.
Bud Rier Chevrolet in Paisley is one of at least 10 dealerships that will stay open after reaching an out of court settlement with G-M Canada.
The Paisley dealership was one of 21 across Canada that was due to shut down at the end of October — but sued the automaker earlier this year.
Gary Rier first received the termination notice in May 2009 — less than a year after he followed G-M instructions to spend 250 thousand dollars to upgrade his outlet.
Rier now says his customers and his 15 employees are happy.
G-M Canada first issued the termination notices 15 months ago in a move to cut costs and streamline operations.
