Hanover has a new Manager of Programs and Community Development.
Aquatics Co-ordinator Bert Lennox has been promoted to the job.
Lennox’s new responsibilities include everything from summer day camp to seniors games and seeking out grant opportunities for Hanover.
There are also some new initiatives coming out that focus on healthy communities, youth and culture.
Lennox says she has big shoes to fill.
She takes over for former Manager of Programs Sherri Walden — who has been promoted to Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture for Hanover.
After 12 years as Hanover’s Aquatics Co-ordinator — Lennox isn’t ready to hang up her swim whistle just yet.
She plans to continue offering specialized training to those enrolled in Hanovers advanced lifesaving programs.
