The Grey Bruce Health Unit had warned it could happen again — and it has.
There is a do not use water advisory for residents of Marl Lake and Lake Rosalind.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit issued the advisory late Friday afternoon because of Blue Green Algae within the Lakes.
Residents who get water from the lakes are instructed NOT to use the water — and boiling the water will not work either.
Toxins from Blue Green algae may be harmful to human health and to the health of animals.
Residents who access their water from their own separate private well are not affected by the order.
This is the second advisory of the summer for residents at the Brockton lakes.
The first one was issued June 21st and lasted over two weeks.
This advisory will remain in effect until water samples taken by the Ministry of Environment indicate that the lake water is safe.
