An 18 year old Port Elgin man learning the hard way from the police that playing prank may not always go as you plan.
Saugeen Shores Police received a call of a 1998 Toyota Camry stolen from a residence near the beach in Port Elgin.
The keys had been left in the vehicle, and a trailer with a yellow seadoo was attached to the back.
Three cruisers responded, but the complainant called back to report that a friend had taken the car as a joke … and everything was straightened out.
However, the police will be charging the 18 year old friend with Public Mischief.
