The Lake Huron Learning Collaborative wants to get out more information about a new small business course they are offering in Kincardine.
Community Education Developer Anna Marie Dalton-Needles says they’ve partnered with Georgian College to offer the first module in a small business management certificate.
The course will be offered this September, but if you’re not sure whether you’d like to enroll or not, you might want to check out an information session today.
It will run from 4:30 PM to 6 PM at the Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre Theatre.
Dalton-Needles says a representative from the Collaborative, Georgian College and the instructor will all be on hand to provide answers to registration, financing, and course content.
She says this module is called Customer Service Excellence, and she thinks it would be beneficial to anyone who’s owned a business or is thinking of starting one up.
This course is one of six compulsory credits that make up the Ontario Management Development Program.
Dalton-Needles says if you add three elective credits, you will complete the small business management certificate.
