A gathering of Greens in Owen Sound later today, and we are not talking about gardeners.
The Political Greens will meet at the Lumley Bayshore Community Centre to hold their nomination meeting to pick a candidate to run in the next federal election.
Two people are in the running to carry the Green banner.
Emma Hogbin of Owen Sound and Lynn Morgan of Massie will speak and answer questions from the audience before the membership votes to decide who will become the candidate to represent Greens in the next Federal election.
Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada, will give a speech and announce the winning candidate.
Adriane Carr, the Deputy Leader, will also attend.
That meeting gets underway at 7 PM at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound.
