Good news for swimmers in the area.
Both Lion’s Head Beach in Northern Bruce Peninsula, and Station Park Beach at Kincardine are now open again for swimmers.
Water samples show results within acceptable levels for bacteria, according to Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit took the samples last Thursday.
Station Park Beach has been closed since August 6th, and Lion’s Head beach in Northern Bruce Peninsula was closed last Wednesday.
Beach information is posted on the Grey Bruce Public health unit website and is updated as conditions change.
