10 people will be honoured this month by the South Bruce Peninsula council for their volunteer work.
An awards ceremony to honour the Outstanding Volunteers in the community will be held at the Sauble Beach Community Centre on August 19th at 6 PM.
South Bruce Peninsula residents are encouraged to come out and join in on the celebration.
The nominees are:
1. Peter Barber, Sauble and Area Mens Club
2. Colleen Bond, Amabel Sauble Community School
3. Eleanor Davis, I.O.D.E White Cloud Chapter
4. James Howe, Sauble Beach and District Lions Club
5. Delphine Lourie, Sauble Beach Sandpipers
6. Bill McKenzie, Bruce Peninsula Hospice Inc
7. Marlene Harley, Bruce Peninsula Health Service Foundation
8. Pat Scott, Allenford Curling Club
9. Lloyd and Jo-Ann Sheridan, Sauble Beach Cross Country Club
10. Joyce Wettlaufer, Hepworth, Shallow Lake Legion Branch #586
