An honour for the CAW Family Education Centre in Port Elgin.
Staff at the Centre’s cafeteria have received the provincial Eat Smart Award of Excellence.
The award acknowledges cafeterias that demonstrate excellence in the areas of nutrition, food safety and a smoke free environment.
Executive Chef Paul Johnston says they have worked hard to lower fat and salt in their food and offer higher fibre food.
He says the staff and visitors will reap the rewards of tasty and healthy food choices.
