It’s the Harvest season and not only are Grey Bruce farmers bringing in their crops.
So too are local police forces.
Saugeen Shores Police Service raided Wellington Street address in Port Elgin on Thursday.
They found an indoor grow-op with a total of 77 marihuana plants were seized ranging from small seedlings to 6 feet high.
Officers also seized a garbage bag of dried marihuana, other containers of marihuana a small baggie of magic mushrooms cannabis resin and numerous pieces of equipment for the production of marihuana.
Two Port Elgin residents — a 54 year old man and a 47 year old woman — were charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana over 30 grams, Possession of Cannabis Resin Under 1 gram and Possession of Psilocybin.
