Five young ladies from Grey Bruce will be off the Canadian National Exhibition later this month to take part in the Ambassador of the Fair competition
Chenelle Beresford of the Chesley Fall Fair; Amanda Betts of the Dundalk and District Fair; Brittany Priddle of the Feversham Fall Fair; Hiliary Breadner of the Markdale Fall Fair and Bianca Posthumus of the Arran-Tara Fall Fair will be competing.
More than 70 contestants, aged 18 to 25, will showcase their knowledge of Canadian agriculture, and be judged on poise, self-confidence and prepared speeches.
As Ambassador of the Fairs, the winning competitor participates in a series of official duties during the 18 day run of Canadas largest fair, while at the same time representing their individual fair and rural Ontario.
