After spending the first half of the year at the Teeswater Arena, the Teeswater Library is ready to re-open.
Bruce County Public Library Director Marzio Appolloni says the library will officially open its doors on Tuesday..
The library is one of five Carnegie libraries in the County, and the last one left that needed updating.
Appolloni says the washroom facilities and wiring were unacceptable to today’s standards, and they wanted to make the building accessible to all.
He says there’s now easy access with an elevator added, and there’s more space for a computer area and children’s area.
And as is the case in all Bruce County libraries there will be free wireless Internet.
The upgrades cost a total of 406 thousand dolllars.
