A 21 year old man faces charges after a Bruce Peninsula OPP officer was assaulted.
Police stopped a vehicle in Sauble Beach early Sunday morning and charged the 23 year old male driver from Wiarton with impaired driving.
During the investigation — police say the passenger became abusive and was charged with being drunk in public.
And while he was taken to the OPP detachment — Police allege the South Bruce Peninsula man assaulted the officer escorting him.
The man was charged with assaulting police.
