The second annual Dancing for Life for in Owen Sound is being hailed as another success.
The organizers have announced they raised almost 50 thousand dollars from this year’s shows ($48,600.)
The money will be split among the local branches of the Canadian Cancer Society, the Children’s Aid Society, the Alzheimer’s Society and Community Living.
One of the organizers and Dance Instructors Ann Milne says the three shows held June 18th and 19th at OSCVI were seen by close to 18 hundred people.
The event featured local celebrity dancers including business owners, dignitaries and police officers.
