Owen Sound Police are looking for boat thieves.
A sailor in the Georgian Yacht Club woke up around 1:30 AM Tuesday after his sailboat was hit by a larger vessel.
And the complainant told police he saw a man and woman — both in their 20’s — fleeing from the larger boat after letting it go adrift.
The man and a Police officer managed to board the drifting boat — which is worth 100 thousand dollars — and disabled the motor to guide it back into a nearby slip.
No word on how much damage was done to the board.
Anyone with information is asked to call City Police or Crime Stoppers.
