Two people face charges after a Sauble Beach business owner was assaulted.
Bruce Peninsula OPP are investigating the incident that occurred just before 10 PM on Wednesday.
The merchant was trying to prevent a man from leaving his place of business on Lakeshore Boulevard because he damaged property.
As police were heading to the location — they received information that another man had helped free his friend and had left the scene.
Police were able to locate the two men with the help of the business owner.
A 26 year old man from Port Elgin and a 27 year old man from Southampton have been charged with assault.
