Simcoe Grey MP Helena Guergis wants a face to face meeting with the Prime Minister.
In a news release issued Thursday afternoon, the former Conservative MP says she is “relieved” that the RCMP have concluded their investigation and says “I knew that I had done nothing wrong.”
Guergis says she will continue to work hard for those who have elected her as their representative in Ottawa.
The MP adds she will continue to work with the Ethics Commission and is looking forward to a resolution of that investigation as well.
Guergis adds, “it is time for a face to face meeting between the PM and I. “
She says he can raise his concerns, whatever they are, and she can answer.
The Simcoe Grey MP says she has never been afforded the opportunity to answer any of the Prime Minister’s concerns.
Helena Guergis’ office says she is spending time with family today and is not speaking to the media.
