Talks for a new contract for workers at Zehrs Markets in Owen Sound and Kincardine and at Loblaws in Collingwood and the Real Canadian Superstore in Wasaga Beach are underway.
Loblaw Companis Ltd. is bargaining with three United Food and Commercial Workers union locals with the help of an Ontario mediator.
The union represents about 30 thousand workers province wide.
Earlier contract talks got off to a rocky start that led to a 97 per cent strike vote by union members earlier this month.
The union says both parties have now agreed that all issues are on the table for discussion.
The union says it will stay at the table as long as talks are progressing.
