It’s a walk with a difference in the Desboro area tomorrow.
Grey County Agricultural Services is sponsoring a Crop Walk on Wednesday at 10 AM.
The Crop walk is starting at Don Dietrichs farm at Grey Road 40, about 5 miles west of Desboro just before the Grey-Bruce County Line.
It will be followed by stops at the farms of Bill and Paul Sachs, Nathan Thomson and Dave Thomson.
The guest speaker will be Peter Johnson, the OMAFRA Cereal Crops Specialist.
The walk will feature weed control in IP soybeans and corn, nitrogen trial on winter wheat, soybeans and corn, tillage comparisons in canola and crop scouting for forage, mixed grain, corn, IP soybeans, canola and winter wheat.
