The 24 weeks of summer at Sauble Beach continues with more events scheduled this weekend.
This weekend on the main beach the Sunset Volleyball Festival will be going on in partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society.
Shane Sargent — the Events Co-ordinator — says the proceeds from the 6’s and 4 tournament goes to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Sargent says there will also be the Ontario Volleyball association members who will be vying for spots for the provincial and national championships.
Sargent says it is a great game not only to play but to watch and will have some elite athletes playing.
Along with the volleyball tourney is the Rock the beach portion which has many musical acts.
Some of the acts include Ill Scarlet and Hail the Villain.
Music starts at 11 AM both Saturday and Sunday.
