Bruce Power will host its ninth annual Beach Party at Port Elgin’s beach tonight.
The party is held every year to say thank you to staff and the community surrounding the facility.
This year’s party kicks off at 6PM on the Port Elgin Beach, and there will be all sorts of family activities taking place.
Some of the activities throughout the day include drumming, kite flying, sand sculpting, train rides, yoga and volleyball.
For those into pro sports, the Jays on the Road will be there again.
Leafs Nation wil be at the party, bringing a replica hockey dressing room, as well as an exhibit from the Toronto Marlies Hockey Club.
The evening continues with a free beef on a bun or veggie burger dinner.
Entertainment for the night will be provided by the Dark Angel Blues Band, Stephen Elvay who performs Comedy Magic, and jazz duo Jan Merkel and Karen Holgate.
Fireworks will go at dusk.
Mike Brough of 98 the Beach will be the official emcee for the evening.
