It’s been a busy week of suturing, helping deliver a baby from a mannequin and being part of a mock disaster just to name a few classes.
It was all part of the 5th annual MedQUEST Health Careers Exploration Program that ends today.
Program chair Myrna Inglis says 30 students from Grades 10 and 11 from high schools in Bruce and Grey took part.
Inglis says they treat the week as intensive learning about the health professions and a graduation ceremony will be held tonight at Victoria Jubilee Hall in Walkerton.
Outside the ceremony hall, a trailer will be set up and Inglis says it will be full of information on colleges and universities where you can get the health training of your choice.
She says the trailer will be open to the general public for a half-hour at 5:30 PM and then again after the closing ceremonies.
Inglis says everyone is welcome to attend the closing ceremonies.
