Bluewater Park in Wiarton is about to undergo some changes.
Bridge Excavating will complete the work for the first portion of the Bluewater Park re-development.
Mayor Gwen Gilbert says the signatory bylaw will be discussed at the next Committee of the Whole meeting and it will be voted on in two weeks at the council meeting.
Gilbert says work is then set to begin the next day at the park.
She says the first portion will include development on walking paths, parking lots and roadways.
The second portion will be out for tender shortly.
The second stage will include a new tourist information area, restoring the old coal sheds, a new entrance into the park and a new washroom.
