It’s a guilty verdict for the Deputy Mayor of Brockton.
Roland Anstett was found guilty on Friday of theft under five thousand dollars.
Court heard Anstett took money from the till of the LCBO store in Walkerton that he used to managed in 2009.
Anstett argued that he took the money to pay bills for the store, but the judge did not believe him.
Anstett received a conditional discharge and is not allowed near the Walkerton LCBO for six months.
He must also pay the missing money back — which totals less than 200 dollars.
