Summer camp is a very important part of being a kid.
And the Bruce Children are Special Foundation has helped make that a part of dozens of kids lives.
The group raised 20 thousand dollars through its summer camp program to send 61 children from Bruce County to the camp of their choice.
Each year, the foundation raises funds to pay registration fees for children whose families receive services from the Children’s Aid Society of Bruce County.
Foundation Administrator Cherie Borho says camps help kids stay active and it also helps them with any self esteem issues.
Borho says you can make a donation to next year’s program by calling the foundation or visiting the website at www.brucecas.ca/foundation
