Elvis has NOT left the building.
Crimestoppers in partnership with Crabby Joe’s in Port Elgin are presenting “One Night With You,” a tribute to Elvis Presley, starring Peter Irwin.
Irwin is a former Canadian amateur champion Elvis imitator.
Crimestoppers co-ordinator Dean Rutherford says Irwin has expanded his show since the last time he was in the area.
Rutherford say he now presents the Jailhouse Rock Show, featuring Frankie D & the Dreamers, the Rockettes and an 11 piece band.
The show is being put on at the Plex in Port Elgin and Rutherford says if they get a thousand people in there to see the show, they’ll make about 10 thousand dollars, which will go to operate the Crimestoppers program in Grey Bruce.
The show goes 8 PM, Saturday July 10th at the Plex.
Tickets are 25 dollars each and can be purchased at regular ticket outlets in Saugeen Shores and from any Crimestoppers Grey Bruce board member.
