It’s going to be another scorcher today across the region.
Temperatures are expected to hit 30 again today but it will feel like 40 with the humidity.
But a bit of a break today as a smog advisory has been dropped for Bruce, Grey and Simcoe Counties — but it continues in Huron, Perth and Wellington Counties.
There are more cooling centres for people to beat the heat.
The Saugeen Room at the Hanover Civic Centre will be open from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM.
Owen Sound has opened City Hall, the Bayshore Community Centre and the public library as cooling centres during regular business hours.
In fact — libraries in several communities — including Kincardine, Port Elgin and Southampton — will act as public cooling centres.
People can also beat the heat at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
The Shallow Lake Community Church will again be open from 10 till 6 today.
Meaford Hall, Grey Roots and the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton also invite people to cool off in their facilities.
All cooling centres will have water available and they will be open for the duration of the heatwave.
