Another successful golf fundraiser in Walkerton.
The 17th annual Longest Day in Golf was held in Walkerton on Tuesday and over 400 golfers raised almost 64 thousand dollars.
The money raised will support the Canadian Cancer Society.
More than half a million dollars has been raised in the 17 year history of the golf fundraiser.
This year’s golfers came from across the region and as far away as Kitchener and Ottawa — and planning has begun for next year’s event.
