It was standing room only at a public information meeting in Kincardine on the negative effects of wind turbines.
The meeting was held Thursday night at the Davidson Centre, by residents who have concerns after being surrounded by the Enbridge Wind Turbine project.
One of the organizers, Cheryl Murray, says she was impressed with the turnout.
They set up for 150 people to attend, and by the time the session started, she says there were about 200 people there.
Murray says there were a lot of people in attendance who had already made up their minds, and are opposed to wind turbines.
But she says there were many who came there to learn their side of the story, which included the effects the wind turbines have had on their health.
She says it was a well-informed crowd, as many in the audience were able to answer questions coming from the audience.
Murray says the next step is for those who were at the meeting to write to their local politicians to let the government know how they feel about wind turbines.
She says her only disappointment is that the local MPP wasn’t at the meeting.
Overall, Murray is pleased with how the meeting went and feels they were able to get their message across.
