It’s election day at Saugeen First Nation.
Three candidates are running for Chief, including incumbent Randall Kahgee, former chief Vernon Roote and Michael Solomon.
Nine positions are open for the band council and 48 people have let their names stand.
Polls open at 9 AM at the James Mason Cultural/Memorial Community Centre and close at 8 PM.
Those living off the reserve have likely already voted.
They were sent mail-in ballots in late May.
