Grey Bruce Health Services President and CEO Maureen Solecki is open to an informal approach.
Solecki has inaugurated “Coffee With the President”.
She calls it a series of monthly meetings at their different hospitals — including one this week in Southampton.
Solecki says it’s a way to talk to as many frontline staff as possible about current issues facing the hospital.
Solecki says she goes into these meetings with no agenda or specific message — it’s a forum to get input regarding ways to improve patient care and find more efficiencies.
Staff who can’t physically attend may still be able to participate through video-conference links.
Videos and summaries of each meeting are also made available.
Solecki says the corporation’s senior management team is committed to making itself as available to its employees.
Solecki says communication is key to ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
